1. Cisco: Westwater Canyon Full-Day Rafting Trip with Lunch
If you are looking for an exciting full-day rafting trip, this is the trip for you. This stretch of the Colorado River is a mix of calm and wild rapids for 17.6 miles from Westwater Ranger Station to the Cisco take-out. There will be sections of calm water to take in the views and the stunning canyon walls, with a long stretch of consistent Class III-IV rapids. To minimize impact on this fragile environment, the Bureau of Land Management permits only a small number of people on the river each day so a guided trip is your best chance at getting on the water! Start the day meeting at the meeting point and get the boats ready for push off! Then enjoy the morning floating down the canyon towards the rapids. Enjoy the uniquely colored black rock cliffs and red sandstone walls of the canyon. After a calm float down the river, you'll go through all 11 class III-IV rapids, starting with Little Dolores and then navigate through Skull, and finish in Last Chance. After conquering all the action-packed rapids and working up an appetite, you'll get to enjoy a riverside lunch with beautiful scenery. Finish the day with a nice calm stretch of water to the take-out at Cisco and then get transported back to the meeting point.
