We had an amazing experience with get your guide on this day trip. They covered 4 villages and each one better than the previous one. The best one was monteresso in which they gave us maximum time to relax by the beach and have sea side lunch. The guides marco and julliano managed the whole group very well by giving us proper instructions of which train to board and where to meet. They also did headcount of the group whenever changing mode of transport so that no one is left out. The bus was also very comfortable. Our italy vacation would not have been so amazing without this tour to cinque terre. Totally 5 stars for this trip from get your guide.
We recommend this one day full expérience especially in you have only 1 day. Departure in La spezia to the Nice harbour of Venazzia, then hiking to the top to have a panoramic view on the small villages of Cinque Terre. Giuliano was our guide (english, a bit of French, only 4 people in the group). The hiking requires good shoes and could be difficult for children under 10. But Giuliano knows the trails with good view. The train ticket was usable after the tour so that we stayed longer to visit. With the tour you see 4 out of 5 (Monterosso is less typical but you can swim in sand beaches).
Really enjoyed this trip, each of the villages were beautiful. You get about 1 hour in each of the villages, maybe a bit more in 1 of them to have a some food and a swim. The trip is well planned out (if the trains are on time). The tour guide was brilliant and gave a bit of information about each village as we arrived there. The boat trip was good but a bit bumpy but fantastic views on the boat. It was especially nice as the villages were a lot less crowded than usual due to the pandemic. Would definitely recommend this trip as a way to see Cinque Terre in 1 day.
After our tour the day before with “My Tours” the Cinque Terre tour with Ciao Florence Tours and Travel was disorganized and unprofessional. The tour guide did not display her certification credentials. She did not have a microphone so that we could all hear her. There were times we lost track of her in the crowds. The flag was not displayed high enough for all to see, there was not a colleague following to insure no one was left behind and people were left behind.
We had a great time on this day trip to Cinque Terre! Despite train strikes that forced a last minute itinerary change, the guides did a great job with managing expectations. We had an amazing time viewing the villages from the water, swimming in Monterosso, and walking around Portovenere (which was not included in the original itinerary, but stunning). This was a convenient and comfortable way to see such stunning landscapes.
