Cave tours

Discover Almadenes Canyon on a rafting trip with expert guides on a level 1 tour suitable for all participants. Admire the beautiful scenery of this protected area known for its riverine forest, rocky landscape, and ancient rock paintings. Start the trip by rafting along a section of the Segura River. Discover over 150 species of flora and fauna within the towering walls of the canyon as your guide gives a detailed account of the rich biodiversity of the area. Stop on the banks of the river to visit the Monigotes Cave. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, see a variety of red schematic paintings which are over 8,000 years old. Here the guides will give a rock art workshop/demonstration. Admire these fascinating works which depict human outlines, animal representations, and other mysterious patterns which are difficult to interpret. Then, board the boat and enter the Cave of the Otters, named for its curious animal inhabitants. Sail out of the mouth of the Alfonso XIII reservoir, before finishing the adventure at La Mulata dam.

Enjoy the most beautiful route of the Segura River, the route known as the Descent of the Segura. 14.5 km of fun climbed yet Rafting. It is in a place known as the Ricote Valley. The activity starts at the old Cieza bridge and ends in Blanca. We have Rafting, Kayak and banana boats to carry out this activity. Three shifts at different times. We also offer different shifts, in the morning, at noon and in the afternoon. Available from Monday to Sunday throughout the year. You can choose to enjoy a picnic halfway or a paella in a wonderful location. We are the pioneer company of this activity, we started almost 23 years ago. Furthermore, we are the only company that has facilities on the first line of the river and its own pier.

In summer we start with the rafting activity and halfway through the route, we make a stop at the Abrigos del Pozo, declared a World Heritage Site. During the tour, the flora and fauna of this Protected Natural Area are observed. Once the activity is over, we go to the Cueva del Puerto, considered the Jewel of Underground Tourism, a one-hour tour through its interior that will enchant you and will make you enjoy the varieties of formations and galleries that you will find inside. In our store we have a collection of minerals that you can admire. Two activities can be done in the same morning or during the day (depending on the different shifts of the Cueva del Puerto)
