What People Are Saying About Churchill War Rooms
Strength and fragility, a moving reminder of so much owed to so few.
Why the site stayed entombed for 40 years remained a mystery. Also the precise intervals when it was used by the principals, whereas it was seemingly used by staff to the very end, Aug. 45. But it is a remarkable preservation and reconstitution, fully conveying for the future the drama, tenuousness and how much hung in the balance in those years, with Churchill of course central. Fascinating in its detail and awesome in its atmosphere, we feel this tribute to Britain's "finest hour" is not to be missed.

Excellent museum but entry to venue involves slow queuing
Worth every penny, but there is no fast entry for ticket holders and had to queue in the rain. That bit is poorly organised at peak/ busy periods.

Very interesting insight into the life of Churchill
Audio tape for the tour was very informative. It was amazing to have walked and been in the war rooms where Churchill walked. Very good day out. The tour was a birthday present for my husband and he certainly wasn't disappointed. Thank you

A wonderful presentation of an historic landmark.
Well presented and full of fascinating and interesting facts to make the whole story come to life however the four chapters are not easy to follow in sequence and could be better displayed in separate sections to make the visitor more easily follow the story in the right order. Nevertheless a wonderful experience.

This tour is an interesting insight into life underground.
The War Rooms are "as is" at the end of World War 2. The tour is suitable for adults, teenagers and children alike. The audio guide is brilliant. Take your time with this tour, there's a lot to see. The museum in the middle of the tour is the highlight. There is a small eating area, for a bite to eat and a cuppa if the troops are getting restless. I highly recommend this attraction.
