We managed to pick the day there was a thunderstorm and thought the trip would be ruined because it poured for the first time 4 hours however our guide Marco was fantastic. It meant Capri was much quieter and we could get about more easily. It gave us a really good insight into how the locals live out of season! The sun eventually came out and normal service was restored. We visited Augustus gardens, perfume factory, lovely cafes and craft shops in Anacapri. Great for people watching. It can get super busy and only one narrow road on the island so be prepared for crowds and slow travel. Blue grotto was closed due to sea level but boat tour round the island was stunning. Gorgeous views, a mix of glamour and relaxation. Boat transfers and mini bus travel on the island worked really well. Marco our guide was fantastic and made what could have been a wash out a very enjoyable experience.

The cost of the day trip is high, but if everything goes smoothly, as it did for us, it's well worth it. Unfortunately, it's difficult to do everything in one day, but we managed it. A special mention goes to our tour guide, Marco, who was excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable.... 10 out of 10.

We loved our guide. He was funny, sincere, and knowledgeable. Made the trip to Capri extra special by making accommodations when we wanted to go swimming after the garden tour. Thanks for a great day.
