  • The Hagglund Ride is not recommended for pregnant visitors or those with heart conditions, back or neck pain. There is a height restriction for this ride, guests must be minimum of 1.2 metres tall.
  • The 4D movie includes realistic 3D imagery and 4D special effects of seat movement, water spray, air bursts, and bubbles. Viewer discretion is advised for those who are pregnant, suffering from neck or back pain, epilepsy or heart conditions. The show is considered suitable for all ages and parental discretion is recommended for children under 5 years.

There are lots of interesting facts about Antarctica presented in different formats. I liked how there are activities that allow for insightful experiences such as the polar storm and the 4D movie. Also interesting to know about the wildlife and their survival especially with changes in climate and the glaciers melting.

Excellent facility with helpful, friendly staff. We started our tour in their Antarctic all terrain vehicle over a track. We enjoyed the hands on meeting with husky dogs, the penquin feeding and info session, the snow storm room and the many exhibits. Enjoyed a nice lunch in cafe. This day was wonderful highlight of our first trip to New Zealand!

Ich konnte nur 9 Uhr als Besuchszeit buchen, musste mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ( Bus 8 zum Airport) früh los und war noch vor der Öffnungszeit des Centres da. Alleine! Ansonsten alles super- für die 3 Huskys sicher anstrengend. Ein Audioguide würde auch helfen, denn mein Partner kann kein Englisch. Alles in allem zu empfehlen!
