Day 2: Chuquisqa - Santa Rosa – Marampata This day we will start very early with breakfast, and then continue descending for 1 hour to the Rosalina beach bridge (Apurímac River), passing the bridge we will begin to climb for approximately 1 hour and a half. to Santa Rosa. After having a rest we will continue climbing for approximately 3 and a half hours. to the town of Marampata, where we will have lunch and in the afternoon you will have free time. Day 2: Marampata- Choquequirao- Marampata This day we will start very early to be able to take advantage of the entire day. After breakfast we will go to Choquequirao for approximately an hour and a half. Upon arriving at the place we will visit all possible places since the entire day will be dedicated to getting to know this wonderful place. Then we will continue our hike until we descend to Playa Rosalina (1550 m.a.s.l.), which is the lowest point. From this place we will ascend for approximately 2 hours until we reach Santa Rosa, where our first campsite will be. Day 2: Santa Rosa - Marampata - Choquequirao In Santa Rosa we can find the famous Cambrai, a drink made from sugar cane, which in large quantities can intoxicate us. Along the hike from Santa Rosa to Marampata we will have a beautiful view of the Apurimac canyon, we will cross small hunts like Santa Rosa Alta and Huchuerta, as Santa Rosa Alta and Huchuerta, once we arrive to Marampata which will be the place of our camp, we will have a small rest and then we will have a walk of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Inca city of Choquequirao. Upon arrival at Choquequirao we will have a guided tour of the most important areas of the site, such as the main esplanade, the Usno, the workshops and the sector of the terraces that are embedded in stone in the shape of llamas. After our visit we will return by the same road to Marampata for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, where we will have our dinner and camp. Day 3: Choquequirao - Playa Rosalina - Chiquisqa After a good breakfast we will start our way back and say goodbye to this beautiful tourist attraction. We will continue our hike to Playa Rosalina where we will have a short rest and then continue to Chiquisca where we will have our last camp. Day 4: Chiquisqa - Capuliyoc - Cachora - Cusco After a comforting breakfast we will begin the return hike to the Capuliyoc pass where we will have one last beautiful view of the Apurimac canyon and after approximately 2 hours of walking we will arrive to San Pedro de Cachora where we will say goodbye to our muleteers who accompanied us in this wonderful adventure, then we will head to the mobility and we will be return to Cusco in the afternoon.

Day 1: CUSCO - CACHORA - CHIKISKA We will start the excursion from the meeting point "Plaza Regocijo" at 6:30 a.m. Trip of 3 hours, guided visit in Saywite (stone carved by the Incas). We will continue to Cachora, Capuliyoc where we will have our first lunch with a beautiful view of the Apurimac Canyon and the snow-capped Padreyoc. Afterwards we will start our trekking, we will descend for 3 hours approximately, passing by the viewpoints of Cocamasana until we arrive to Chikisa. Dinner and overnight in a rural lodge. DAY 2: CHIKISKA - MARAMPATA We will start the day with a delicious breakfast, then we will descend for 1 hour to the Apurimac River. We will arrive at Rosalina Beach, cross the river and walk for more than 1 hour to Santa Rosa. After a short rest we will continue our route to the town of Marampata, here you will have lunch and have the afternoon free to rest after a hard hike. In the evening dinner and overnight. DAY 3: MARAMPATA - CHOQUEQUIRAO We will have an early breakfast and depart to Choquequirao, upon arrival you will enjoy a guided tour. You will visit the different places of the archaeological center, you will pass through the high part of the archaeological center and the terraces, in which you can see representations of llamas. Lunch will be a box lunch that will bring us to Choquequirao itself. In the afternoon we will return to Marampata and spend the night there. DAY 4: MARAMPATA - CAPULIYOC We will get up very early, we will go down for 2 hours towards Santa Rosa, upon arrival you will have your typical breakfast. Then we will continue another 2 hours to the Apurimac River where we can rest for a while. After the rest we will go up to Chikiska, where a delicious lunch awaits us. In the afternoon we will walk to Capuliyoc for 3 hours approximately, here ends our adventure, we will be returning to our city of origin that can be Abancay or Cusco.

Choquequirao (from Quechua chuqi, gold, and k'iraw, crib, meaning "cradle of gold") is the ruins of an Inca city located between the slopes of the Salkantay snow-capped mountains. The archaeological monuments of Choquequirao consist of buildings and terraces distributed at different levels, from the lowest level, Sunch'u Pata, to the highest truncated summit, which was leveled and enclosed with stones to form a platform with an approximate area of 150 square meters. Choquequirao (sometimes spelled as Choqequirau or Choquekiraw) is known as the "sacred sister" of Machu Picchu. Location: It is located at 13° 32' south latitude and 72° 44' west longitude, at an altitude of 3200 meters above sea level in the foothills of the Salcantay snow-capped mountain, north of the Apurimac Valley. Access: Currently, the only way to reach the Choquequirao citadel is by land. The most well-known route is to take the road towards Abancay at km. 154, then choose the detour that leads to the town of Cachora. From there, a steep 32 km uphill hike is required, taking approximately two days to complete. Choquequirao Trek: This trekking experience covers a distance of 64 kilometers over 4 days, taking place in one of the deepest canyons in the world, formed by the Apurímac River. The trail follows narrow and zigzagging paths, offering views of majestic snow-capped peaks and daunting cliffs, surrounded by stunning landscapes and vegetation ranging from puna grass to tropical ferns. However, this trek can only be undertaken with the guidance of a specialized guide.
