At around 08:00, your excellent tour guide will pick you up at your downtown Chongqing hotel for a 3-hour comfortable private vehicle drive to Wulong County. After a hearty lunch at a local restaurant, your splendid Chongqing Wulong karst tour begins with the Three Natural Bridges, the essential scenic feature of this world heritage area. Exquisitely sculptured by the hands of god, the three giant stone arch bridges are real wonders that can't be seen anywhere else in the world. Inside the tranquil scenic area, you can embrace the rugged beauty of the mountain bridges and gorges by meandering along the narrow path on the valley's bottom. During the 2 - 2.5 hours visit, you will also stop by an ancient staging post near Qinglong Bridge, which was constructed during the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) for handling official business and receiving guests. The wooden-structured courtyards are still well preserved with more than 20 rooms remaining. After some free time to wander around, your Wulong trip from Chongqing concludes. Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel, hop on your private car and set off to the Three Gorges Museum. The museum now has collected over 180,000 cultural relics. Stroll around the museum with your tour guide to gain deep insight into the history and culture in Chongqing and Three Gorges area. Move on to Shancheng Alley, hike to the top and enjoy a panoramic view of the Yangtzi River. Listen to your guide's comment about this old city's past and future. Next, take the Crown Grand Escalator, which is Asia’s second longest escalator. We highly recommend you to take the 5 minutes Chongqing Yangtze River Cableway to enjoy the beautiful scenery(sometimes the line is really long) After lunch in the local restaurant, explore the Ciqikou Ancient Town in the afternoon. Surrounded by three mountains and ran through by one river and two streams, Ciqikou has the great location to be a transport hub in ancient time which was famous for producing and selling porcelain. Follow your tour guide to explore Ming and Qing style houses, taste local snacks or take a break at the old style teahouse. If you want to add Hongya Cave please let your tour guide know, Hongya cave was a military fortress from the ancient Ba State (1046 B.C. - 256 B.C) to the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 - 1911). Today, you will go to Dazu County for a whole day of sightseeing (your guide will meet you at 08:30 in your hotel lobby). This is the birthplace of the amazing Dazu rock carvings, which were created from the late Tang dynasty (618~907) to the early Song dynasty (960~1127). With the theme of Buddhism, the Dazu cliffside carvings are distributed in Beishan, Baodingshan, Nanshan, Shimenshan and Shizhuanshan. You will spend the day visiting the Baodingshan carvings located about 527 meters above sea level. It consists mainly of the Dafowan rock carvings area and the Xiaofowan rock carvings area. There are about 10,000 statues of Buddha carved on the 500 meter cliff in the U-shaped Dafowan. It is said to be a long narrative mural with plenty of commentary but no repeated content. When the tour ends, you will drive you back to your Chongqing hotel.

After the break, we will walk to the restaurant, which is a great Chongqing specialty hot pot restaurant. Hot pot is a traditional food in Chongqing. It has a history of more than two hundred years and has developed into the most popular food in China.
