During this hands-on, 2-hour experience, you'll go on a guided tour of a chocolate museum, learn the history of chocolate, and roast and grind cocoa beans. You'll also learn how to prepare three traditional chocolate drinks and take your own chocolate creations with you.

Join a 3-hour Mole-making workshop at 10:30 AM from Monday - Saturday. Start with a visit to the local market, where you’ll be able to select and buy the ingredients for the workshop. Learn about the Mole Poblano making process and the history of Mole from your instructor. Spend time learning to identify the different chilis. Make your Mole with a variety of nuts, spices, and cacao beans. Once you’ve prepared your Mole, put some in a jar to take home with you. Prepare and eat your Mole with rice and chicken or a vegetarian/vegan option.

During this family-friendly activity, you'll explore Mesoamerica’s often-overlooked history of chocolate during a guided tour of the museum. Then, you'll get hands-on experience tempering, molding, and decorating your own cacao creations to take home.
