I LOVED the museum! Even though it was very busy, it was very interesting and interactive. The workshop was fun because we were with a group but the cook didn't speek Dutch (as requested) and wasn't very motivated to interact with the people. She only showed what we could do and than gave us enough materials to do it... That was a bit disappointing and I hope it will change but overall I really liked the visit

I was between several different options, all I knew is that I wanted to do something with chocolate while in Belgium, couldn't go and not do that lol. This was definitely the best pick! The chocolate was basically never ending. We had some time where we learned about it and then we were given time to make 4 smaller candy bars and and optional larder block. Along with this, we had a sheet of parchment paper we were able to fill up with as many different chocolate creations as we wanted (chocolate lollypops, medallions, fun shapes, etc) all with a wide variety of topping options. We could use white, milk, and dark chocolate. Following the chocolate making, we were able to walk through the museum with a hand held device that we could scan and learn about the exhibits. Throughout the museum, there were a good amount of times that chocolate tastings were handed out along with a demonstration room. I recommend this activity to anyone considering it.

Really enjoyed this workshop experience. We got to make as many chocolates as we could in a timeframe. Only thing I wish for was more of a hands on experience and maybe explain different styles and chocolate types that help creations of chocolate statues and things of that nature. Overall, I loved it and the chocolate (even though I’m not a chocolate lover).
