Explore Chobe National Park, One of the best game-viewing experiences and a must-do safari tour once you travel to Botswana. The tour departs daily from Victoria Falls town [Zimbabwe] & Livingstone town in Zambia to the Chobe National Park in Botswana. Upon pick up, Your guide will drive you about 1 hour to Kazungula border between Zimbabwe and Botswana, You will do our immigration formalities. The tour starts with the morning game cruise along Chobe River. Around the afternoon, you will have buffet lunch at the Chobe Safari Lodge/Chobe Marina Lodge. After lunch, you will board our open 4X4 safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park where you will have the opportunity to enjoy an abundance of wildlife. The day depends on guide knowledge of game, you can start with a game drive in an open 4 x 4 vehicle and finish with a boat cruise or vice versa. This depends on animal movement on the particular days.

Celebrate the end of the day as the sun sinks into the Chobe River on a 3-hour guided sunset cruise. Enjoy this special time of day in Africa as you cruise upstream into the Chobe National Park and see massive herds of elephants streaming to the river banks for their last drink. After pickup from your centrally located Kasane accommodation, transfer to the Chobe River Jetty to board your boat. Make the most of the best time of day to view the abundant wildlife on the banks of the Chobe River. As the temperature cools, large herds of buffalo, zebra, giraffe, and impala can be seen making their way down to the river. Hippos and crocodiles are also common sightings on the Chobe River Sunset Cruise. Elephants frequently cross the river to the islands where the lush green grass is available year-round. At the end of the cruise, you'll be transported back to your accommodation in Kasane.

Day 1 - Pickup from your hotel or airport in Lusaka and drive drirectly to Livingstone the cultural heart of Zambia. This is where we drop you off to a mid-range hotel (included in package) where you get to relax and prepare for the next days adventures. Day 2 - After breakfast (included in package) we pick you up from your hotel and cross the border to into Zimbabwe where your private tour of the majestic Victoria Falls awaits. Once the tour is over we transfer you to your mid-range hotel (included in package) for rest and relaxation. In the afternoon you will be picked up from your hotel to visit the famous devils pool where you will enjoy an afternoon tea with breathtaking views. Day 3 - GROUP TOUR 6:30 AM – 7:00 AM: Pick up from your hotel in Victoria Falls and transfer to the Kazungula border post. 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM: Cross the border into Botswana and proceed to the Chobe National Park. 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Enjoy a morning game drive in an open safari vehicle, spotting animals like elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and more. 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Stop for lunch at a lodge, enjoying a delicious meal and relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Transfer to the Chobe River for a boat cruise, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Continue the boat cruise and witness the incredible wildlife along the Chobe River, including elephants crossing the river and interacting with each other. 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Return to the Kazungula border post and cross back into Livingstone. 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Drop off at your hotel in Livingstone (included in your package). Day 4 - Pickup from your hotel after breakfast (included in your package) and drive drirectly to Lusaka. This is where we drop you off to your hotel (NOT included) or airport in Lusaka and bid our farewells.

The drive from Victoria Falls to the park takes just over an hour, and the day trip includes pickup and drop-off from your hotel in Zimbabwe. Getting into the park early increases your chances of seeing lions and other wildlife that are less active in the heat of the day. The game drive into Chobe National Park will start soon after the gates open. Your driver will be a professional guide with extensive knowledge of the park and its inhabitants. The park is especially known for its massive elephant population, huge array of bird species, and big cats such as lion and leopard. You will discover some of the park’s distinct ecosystems with dense woodland, extensive savannahs, and rolling grasslands while traveling along the Caprivi floodplains. After your game drive, you’ll be treated to lunch at the Chobe Safari Lodge, before a 3-hour boat cruise on the Chobe River. This is a highlight for most, which ends with a view of the sunset over the river. After the river cruise, you will return to your hotel in Victoria Falls late evening.

Once your safari in Chobe National Park has come to an end, you'll return to your lodgings in Kasane.

Be collected from your accommodation in Victoria Falls at 7:00 AM and begin an 80-kilometer journey through the countryside to the Kazungula border. At the border with Botswana, you will change vehicles. After passport control, take a short drive to the Chobe Marina Lodge for a short break. Once in the National Park, you will go on a game drive in an open vehicle. At 12:30 PM, return to have lunch. This will be served a la carte or buffet style with a selection of traditional and modern meals to choose from. After lunch, depart for the afternoon activity. This time board a cruise and you will be able to admire the wildlife from the water. At the end of the activity, commence your journey back to Victoria Falls and be dropped at your accommodation in the late afternoon, in time for dinner around 6:00 PM.
