After pickup from your centrally located Kasane accommodation, transfer to the Chobe River Jetty to board your boat. As the temperature cools, large herds of buffalo, zebra, giraffe, and impala can be seen making their way down to the river. Hippos and crocodiles are also common sightings on the Chobe River Sunset Cruise. Elephants frequently cross the river to the islands where the lush green grass is available year-round. Day 3 - GROUP TOUR 6:30 AM – 7:00 AM: Pick up from your hotel in Victoria Falls and transfer to the Kazungula border post. 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM: Cross the border into Botswana and proceed to the Chobe National Park. 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Enjoy a morning game drive in an open safari vehicle, spotting animals like elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and more. 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Stop for lunch at a lodge, enjoying a delicious meal and relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Transfer to the Chobe River for a boat cruise, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Continue the boat cruise and witness the incredible wildlife along the Chobe River, including elephants crossing the river and interacting with each other. 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Return to the Kazungula border post and cross back into Livingstone. 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Drop off at your hotel in Livingstone (included in your package). As you’ll be among the first to arrive into the park on this early morning trip, you’ll have the best chance of seeing a large range of wildlife. The park is commonly known for its remarkable elephant population. Follow big cats across the wilderness, edge up to herds of elephants, buffalo and giraffes, and cruise down the Chobe River for water-based wildlife encounters. The day trip to Chobe takes you deep into Botswana’s big game country, a vast and diverse terrain that supports a huge assortment of creatures. The drive from Victoria Falls to the park takes just over an hour, and the day trip includes pickup and drop-off from your hotel in Zimbabwe. Getting into the park early increases your chances of seeing lions and other wildlife that are less active in the heat of the day. The game drive into Chobe National Park will start soon after the gates open. Your driver will be a professional guide with extensive knowledge of the park and its inhabitants. The park is especially known for its massive elephant population, huge array of bird species, and big cats such as lion and leopard. You will discover some of the park’s distinct ecosystems with dense woodland, extensive savannahs, and rolling grasslands while traveling along the Caprivi floodplains. After your game drive, you’ll be treated to lunch at the Chobe Safari Lodge, before a 3-hour boat cruise on the Chobe River. This will give you ample opportunities to enjoy the gorgeous river scenery and extraordinarily close views of lots of animals, including elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and bird life. This is a highlight for most, which ends with a view of the sunset over the river. After the river cruise, you will return to your hotel in Victoria Falls late evening.

Be collected from your accommodation in Victoria Falls at 7:00 AM and begin an 80-kilometer journey through the countryside to the Kazungula border. At the border with Botswana, you will change vehicles. After passport control, take a short drive to the Chobe Marina Lodge for a short break. Once in the National Park, you will go on a game drive in an open vehicle. At 12:30 PM, return to have lunch. This will be served a la carte or buffet style with a selection of traditional and modern meals to choose from. After lunch, depart for the afternoon activity. This time board a cruise and you will be able to admire the wildlife from the water. At the end of the activity, commence your journey back to Victoria Falls and be dropped at your accommodation in the late afternoon, in time for dinner around 6:00 PM.
