Puruña stone forest + 2 days / 1 night colca valley

First day Departure: 6:45 am We will pick you up from your location, after that, we will drive for about 1 hour and half in order to arrive to Reserva de Salinas and Aguada Blanca where we will see vicuñas. A bit more than 15 minutes of driving over offroad we will get the starting point to visit Puruña Stone Forest by walking. This is a wonderful place that visitors in Arequipa should not miss. Afterwords, we will continue to Colca Valley, making stops on the way to see Lamas, Alpacas, Vizcachas (roden of the Andes). We will rich by going up to Patapampa from where we will see volcanoes like Ampato ( where Juanita was found), Sabancaya ( one of the most active volcanoe) and Chila Montain range, consider as where the Amazon river stars. Later on, we will go down into a magic Valley and arrive to Chivay for lunch. After our luch, we will go to Pinchollo village located just beetwen the Colca Valley and Colca Canyon. This a non touristique village, you might be the only travellers there. In our way, we will make a cuople of stops along the valley to enjoy its beauty. Once we arrive to Pinchollo, we get in our accomodation/ hotel. We close our day by a beatiful walking to see the beggining of Colca Canyon. There is a amazing viewpoint which will let to see the Valley and at the same time the Canyon. This walking takes 1.5 hours aprox. Diner at hotel. Second day Breakfast in hotel After that, we will drive to Cross of condors, we are only 20 minutes of driving from one of the most visited viewpoints called Cross of condors. As we are close to that, it will gives a great advantage to arrive there when this place is not crowded with tourists yet so, we will have the chance to enjoy when it is very quiet. We will spend for about 1 hour ovet this place to see the majestic flight of confors. We recomend travelers to visit this place during dry season ( may- october) when there high chances to see them. Later on, we will go to another viewpoint located much further from Cross of Condor called Mirador of Tapay. This Mirador will let us to see villages located af the battom part of the canyon and let us to see much more of Colca Canyon. After this, we will go back to the Colca Valley and arrive to Yanque Village where is posible to enjoy hot springs since that area is sorrounded by volcanoes, we spend about 1 hour and after go to Chivay for lunch. After our lunch, we will come back to Arequipa. There also available buses from Chivay to Puno. It takes about 6 hours to get Puno. Arrival in Arequipa: 4:30 pm aprox.
