The Culinary Tour of Chinatown was the highlight of our visit to San Francisco. Brian was an excellent guide, sometimes a bit corny, but very entertaining and knowledgeable. Although we only covered about eight blocks, we got a taste of the local history, met with some of the retail business owners, and, we ate a lot of food. Brian was very conscientious about dietary restrictions, and made sure there were alternatives available. It was a fun way to spend half a day in the city.

This is a MUST-DO experience, Brian is an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide who made the experience so fun, and showed us spots we will definitely be coming back to. On top of that, every part of the tour was super accommodating to dietary restrictions (vegetarian, no pork, etc.), really great time. Amazing guide.

Our guide Isabella was amazing. She filled us in on history, little known facts, and fun conversation. She was knowledgeable and delightful. I would recommend anyone taking this tour to ask for Isabella! The tour itself took us not only to the restaurants that were authentic gathering places for the local Chinese community but also to the park where they gather, a Buddhist Temple, Fortune Cookie Factory, we met and enjoyed a Tea Master, and found the corner where 4 neighborhoods housing different cultures came together. After driving past the China Town gate a couple years ago I have been wanting to walk through ever since. This was the way to do it!
