What people are saying about Chicago

Overall a good experience, few minor hiccups here & there but worth it

The Go Chicago Card was very useful & I would recommend getting 1 for your trip. I did have a few issues with it but most were minor. The app did not work particularly well including the actual vouchers. Luckily I was able to contact the company and had them send me the vouchers in an email which I then printed off. With the hard copies everything was a breeze. The big sticking point to me was the tickets for the Sears/Willis Tower Skydeck. While this does include free entrance to it, it is important to note that this does not include a fast pass. It is advertised in such a way to make you think that you will get to skip some of the line, but it is just a general admission ticket. Just be prepared to wait. We managed to get; The river tour, the hop on/hop off bus, skydeck, art institute and the Navy Pier Ferris wheel. Just those total to a $138 value compared to the $95 I spent on the card. Get a city pass not sure if this is the best company to use but it worked for me.

Most activities were closed on New years Day.

Most activities were close on New Year's Day, so we couldn't use our pass on day 2. When I called for extension for Jan. 2 and I was only offered entry to one attraction. If I had entry permission to a few attractions that would have been worth. I covered five attractions on day 1, so I could have manage to cover the same number of attractions on day2, but because of restrictions I could only see one attraction on day2.

Cheap way to venture into Chicago with proper preparation.

Go Chicago Card will be more worth the price during any other seasons than winter. Due to the coldness, some animals in Lincoln Park Zoo could I be exhibited, the boat tours are also unavailable. But overall, this Chicago Card has proven to be worth the bucks.

The card meant I could visit around 30 attractions for one price

The five day Go Chicago Card was great value for money and meant I could budget before I travelled. Come rain or shine there was an activity I could do and most of them I could even skip the line. I saved so much money.
