The tour was very fun and educational! I went there for my bachelorette party, so it was not what some people expected (they thought it was a party boat). Since you need to look up at the buildings, they don't have a cover on the top of the boat, but it has a downstairs (we didn't go to), so be sure to wear lots of sunscreen or a sunhat. The guide had a sense of humor and very informative of the new buildings that were built since I left Chicago in 2018.

Very enjoyable cruise that was short enough that the children didn’t get restless, but also long enough to relax and listen to the very knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide describe something that he’s so passionate about. Figuring out how to get to the boat was quite interesting, though. We were told to go to docks three and four, but that was not correct.

This was a great excursion! Very knowledgeable and personable guide. So much so that he would give quizzes throughout the tour of stuff he had said earlier and my kids had actually been paying attention enough to know the answers! 45 minutes was the perfect length of time for the kids to get a feel for Chicago.
