Really enjoyed our Segway tour today along the parks and lakeside of Chicago with our guide, Mike. He was very informative and fun. The Segway was in good shape and performed very well. I had been concerned walking there as to where we might go given how crowded Chicago is but we were free flowing all the way. My only downside is I wish I had brought warmer clothing. I was losing feeling in my fingers by the end. Arrived and was quickly signed in by Mike himself and we set about going through the paces learning how to use the segways. Mike was very good getting people up to speed super quick. I’ve done quite a few Segway tours before and he notice that so didn’t waste time teaching me beyond satisfying himself that I was safe. We set off and did the tour stopping along the way to learn bits about Chicago history. We traveled a good distance and got in a good few photo opportunities. Really enjoyed.

As you glide effortlessly and enjoy the lakefront, you can learn the history of our city from your friendly and professional tour guide.

Immerse yourself in the area's countless attractions, gorgeous parks and gardens, and stunning photo opportunities. See sights like Grant Park, the BP Bridge, the Bean, and the Buckingham Fountain, as well as generous views of Lake Michigan and the majestic skyline.

Segways are safe to use, easy to learn, and fun to ride. We offer a thorough training session from our certified guides before we begin the tour.

Meeting point

The office is located at the NE corner of Columbus Drive and Monroe Street. When you are on the intersection of Columbus Drive and Monroe look for the orange flag signs that say "Segway Tours." The offices are located one level below the street and have Orange A-frame signs with arrows pointing the way. Please call 312.552.5100 if you get lost.

  • You must be over 14 years old to participate, and those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Participants must weigh a minimum of 100 lbs. and not exceed 260 lbs, 45-118 kilos
  • Wearing close-toed athletic shoes on the tour is strongly recommended

The segway tour was amazing! My daughter and I had the best time!!! We learned a lot and had so much fun! Mike and Jeremy were so fun and informative! :) This was our favorite thing we did in Chicago! It is something we will never forget!
