The trip to Chiatura was something very special. This was mainly due to our guide Ana. She managed to organize the trip in such a way that it felt like you were exploring your favorite places in the city with a friend. And not like a tour where you "check out" the sights one after the other. We would gladly do it again at any time. The city exudes a pleasant vibe and is completely untouristy, even by Georgian standards.

Demo, our guide, was great. He is local and keen to share stories, history and points of interest in Chiatura. The photos he took were appreciated too. A tasty lunch, good driver and scenic drive to Chiatura from Kutaisi all helped make this a very enjoyable tour.

Great trip to the old miners town Chiatura. The guide Demo knew a lot of informations about the town and showed us also some lost places, which was really interesting.

The day trip was well organized and Anna was an amazing guide! The places are worth a visit, I especially enjoyed the abandoned cable car stop and hospital!

An interesting city to see. Our guide took lots of photos.
