Full description

Arrive at Terre Di Perseto Winery and Farm and meet your local guide. Learn more about the company's history and its production. Start with the cellars tour. Understand how wine and olive oils are made while taking a look at the machinery, the oil jars, and the barrels. After that, get ready for the olive oil tasting. Make yourself comfortable at the wine tasting room. Savor two extra virgin olive oils: Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Chianti Classico DOP (Denomination of Protected Origin). Become a specialist while you hear your local guide explaining how they are composed and their flavors. The oils are accompanied by sliced apples to clean the mounth in between the tasting. Also, prepare your own bruschettas made of Tuscan bread seasoned with extra virgin olive oil on top of it.

The tour in the small family business was nicely designed and all questions were answered. All of the oils we tried were very tasty. What was particularly positive was that the olive oils and other products could be bought afterwards but were not imposed, as is sometimes known from tourist tours. We can definitely recommend this tour.

It was just the two of us and she had all the time for us. Extra nice to see one of the owners also working on the wine and the barrels! Highly recommended the olive oil tasting with the wine tasting. Downside, you want to buy everything ;)
