1. Chiang Mai: Segway and Eco Canopy Zip-Line Adventure
This 9-hour program begins at 09:45 across from Ta Phae Gate in central Chiang Mai. Enjoy a 2-hour Segway tour of the ancient city’s historical sites including Wat Pra Singh, 3 Kings Monument, Wat Chedi Luang and more. A snack and drink are included. Following the 2-hour Segway tour, you board a luxury, air-conditioned van for the drive to Mae Kampong, about an hour from Chiang Mai, for a zip-line adventure like none other on the planet! Soar through the lush, ancient rainforest on Southeast Asia’s number 1 zip-line eco-adventure, Flight of the Gibbon. Experience beauty, magic and adventure deep inside one of Thailand's most pristine rainforests, and hopefully see wild gibbons during the journey. On this unforgettable day, you’ll soar through the jungle enjoying the same spectacular views as the gibbons. In the treetops on a mountain outside of Chiang Mai, you'll glide through the jungle canopy on 5 km of zip-line wires in the jungle eco-system. The course features 33 different platform stations, 3 hanging sky bridges and 2 rappel descents. The longest zip-line in Asia spans over 800 meters. The zip lines conform to International safety standards and the safety record during 9 years of operation speaks for itself. There are 2 experienced and qualified Sky Ranger guides for every 9 flyers. A detailed safety briefing is provided. Education about wildlife and vegetation is provided along the journey. The commitment to responsible eco-tourism ensures that part of your money goes to conserving the spectacular rainforest. While this is certainly an adrenaline-pumping experience, it’s also a family-friendly activity that almost anybody can enjoy. You don’t need a high degree of physical fitness, just a positive attitude. After the zip-line tour, which lasts around 2.5-3 hours, an authentic Thai meal is served before you return you to your hotel. The entire adventure takes approximately 6-7 hours with all transportation and activities included, so please plan accordingly.
