Full description

We will pick you up at your hotel and go to the local market, introduce some Thai herbs and vegetables and getting some ingredient
After returning to the school from the market, you will receive a welcome drink and snack. Then, using a hands-on learning method, we will teach you how to prepare and cook Thai food. This enjoyable and educational activity will allow you to create your own menu and savor the authentic flavors of traditional Thai cuisine.
Please do not hesitate to come and join one of our cooking classes when you are here in Chiang Mai. Everyone will get their cooking station and wok, a Thai recipe book online and photos of the activities will be provided to everyone.

Includes

  • Meet at the Thapae Gate and go to a local fresh market for a local market tour, and purchase some fresh herbs, spices, and some ingredients for cooking. We will then take you to Daddy's Kitchen a Thai Lanna home-style cooking class which is located in Chiang Mai's old city. You can sightsee around Chiang Mai old city after the class.
  • Here you will get a chance to learn how to cook and eat spring rolls and papaya salad, learn how to cook sticky rice, and make sweet sticky rice with mango. For the rest of the menu, you can choose one of each type of food from selected dishes like Pad Thai, fried chicken-cashew nuts, or fried chicken, or tofu with holy basil. Then choose a soup like Tom-Yam-Koong, Tom Zaep, or chicken in coconut milk. You will get to choose to make curry paste from scratch from these choices: green, red, yellow, Masmun, or Khao soi curry paste, and use them to cook your favorite curry.
