Explore an exciting trekking adventures in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This program includes a picnic lunch at Hot Spring followed by trekking adventures in various hill tribe villages.
What to Expect
Day 1: Pick up from major hotels in Chiang Mai and by pick-up truck to the North of Chiang Mai. Stop at the Mae Malai local market to see vendors selling local products. Continue to Chiang Dao Caves before taking lunch. Drive along mountain roads to start a 2-hour trek to a Lahu Hill Tribe Village. Dinner and overnight at Lahu Village. (Lunch, Dinner)
Day 2: After breakfast we begin a 6-hour trek on the jungle trails with lunch at a nearby waterfall. Continue the trek to the Lisu Village. Dinner and overnight at Lisu Village. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 3: Breakfast then start a challenging 4 - 5-hour trek up and down the forest hills. Jungle-style lunch will be provided followed by a 1.5-hour elephant ride through the jungle to the Karen Hill Tribe Village Baan Pang Kao Lam. Enjoy swimming or fishing in the river, walking in the village or playing football with local children. Dinner and overnight in the Karen Village. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 4: After breakfast, say good-bye to the Karen and start a bamboo rafting adventure with an interesting stop en route to a Shan Village. Lunch at the Shan local restaurant. Then, drive back to Chiang Mai. (Breakfast, Lunch)

What to bring:
Walking shoes, slippers or sandals, pants and T-shirt, sweater or jacket or sleeping bag (Oct – Feb), torch or flash light, raincoat, swimming suit, sun glasses, sun protection cream, mosquito or insect repellant, soap, towels and toiletry. Backpack can be provided on request.
