We traveled from Phuket International Airport to Khao Lak, a beach resort roughly 75-90 minutes away. Our driver was excellent — he drove quickly but not wildly, signaled at every lane change, gave other drivers good berth and was very efficient. He also made excellent time, which we appreciated. It’s no big deal to have a plodding, mediocre driver, except when you don’t want to waste time as a passenger. I’d hire this driver again in an instant.
