Irene was a fantastic tour guide, however the tour its self was very disappointing as we were not allowed inside the buildings so really we could have just walked around on our own. I would have expected due to the popularity of call the midwife they would have had something special lined up, there were even people who had come from America for the tour. As I said Irene is a fantastic tour guide and a credit to the company, but with the cost of the tour much more effort should have been made. Perhaps have a replica of the kitchen in nannatas house so people would get a sense of being a part of call the midwife, and customers could have there photos taken sitting at the table. Shame on you for not thinking more about your customers. That said it is a beautiful setting.
Loved every second! Wanted to do this for a while. Every series/Christmas special watched. We had a lovely midwife with our tour. Would 1000% recommend to big fans of Call the Midwife!! 😁
