This tour was a good mix of history lesson combined with local lore and good drinks. The guide (captain Bryan) is a lifelong resident and lover of Charleston. You feel the love and passion he has for his city and preserving the history of it. I would definitely recommend booking with this company and would love to do another tour in the future.

From there, stroll through the charming alleyways and cobblestone streets of Charleston to several cultural sights including a dungeon, original city theater, and 300-year-old homes. Captain Bryan knows his history and is clearly passionate about sharing accurate information rather than spewing questionable tales all while allowing the group to sit back and relax with a glass of whatever they fancy! The Charleston Sweet Tea was awesome at the “O Bar Oyster House” along with the hush puppies and pecan butter…yum! Take this tour, or any tour with Captain Bryan for that matter; you’ll be happy you did!
