Restrooms are available in the lobby area along with seating and water. The tour guide (think it was John - he said to quote the good looking one!) was great. He was knowledgable and the commentary flowed really well. We got to see some lovely buildings and learn about the history of Charleston. The horses seem to be well cared for and saw them being hosed down to keep them cool and given plenty of drinking water. The stables were clean and full of fresh shavings. It cost less booking in advance through Get Your Guide. We did see lots of people walking up on the day to book tours for later on in the day if you weren’t to book in advance. Overall a great way to spend an hour seeing and learning about such a beautiful place.

Our tour was great! We arrived early and they allowed us to hop on an earlier tour. Our guide was friendly and informative. He provided lots of interesting info and happily answered questions. It was a good activity at the beginning of our Charleston stay, so we had an over view of the city to help us navigate when we explored on our own.

Our guide was too much. I don’t know if it’s just what you get in Charleston, but our guides weren’t great on any tours. This one was just too much, he had so much knowledge, we learned so much, but he was so over the top the teenagers in our group-7 out of the 13 of us-quit listening because they found him obnoxious. We loved the ride, we loved all interesting facts. It would have been perfect if we had a guide that was just fun and not so ‘putting on a show’.
