The bus tour was delightful and very informative. Chris, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about his hometown and had nice personal tidbits to add to the tour you wouldn't get elsewhere. *Be warned, you may be mildly rushed for the harbor tour to get there as sometimes the busses are cutting it close on time due to traffic/construction/etc.* The harbor/boat tour was lovely, also very informative. The guide (who's name [sorry] I've forgotten, but he's the artist) again, was very informative and clearly had a passion for the history of Charleston, adding a nice personality to the stories. We were the only ones on our trip back to the bus terminal, and the guide (who's name I didn't catch) was very kind and added small notes as we drove back.

City tour very good. Harbor tour was not what expected. While Civil War information was very informative, it comprised most of the tour, which was not what I expected. -Only one side of the boat saw Fort Sumpter. That side also saw the houses on the shore. I would think could arrange for both sides to see - more on what we could see of the city would have been better -perhaps a little more on the islands and houses

We enjoyed the bus portion a lot more than the boat one. The harbor is so big and our guide a but unexperienced it seemed. Might I suggest the young man get a few more stories about things that happened in harbor and share them during the long breaks in the current commentary. This would spice things up and help us understand how life around the harbor is or was. Overall a nice day.
