Charleston: 90-Minute Ghost and Dungeon Walking Tour

If you want to hear about the history of Charlestown and delve into a bit of ghost hunting and storytelling, this fun walk through the town will have you hoping the tour doesn’t end. You will visit a dungeon where prisoners were kept, see the spot where Blackbeard the infamous pirate docked, and visit a local graveyard and snap pictures hoping to catch an apparition. Fun for adults but may be a bit too scary for little people.

The ghost tour was great! The location of the tour start has parking nearby (not free but available). The guide was knowledgeable and funny. The tour requires quite a bit of walking on cobblestone streets, so wear comfortable shoes. I took a 10 yo and an 11 yo and they had a magnificent time. I highly recommend.

Our tour guide Emma was fabulous! The dungeon is a must see- so spooky - and it was great to hear spooky Charleston stories from a native! There is only 1 reason I did not give it 5 stars is because Get Your Guide could not assure me that I would get a refund . I accidentally ordered 2 tickets , not realizing 1 ticket was for 2 people and only my husband and I were there. Do not use this venue for any events . I find this ludicrous and very poor business skills. My other activities were booked through Bulldog and they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.
