What people are saying about Charleston
This was the most interesting tour Ive ever been on. I liked the fact that there were no children or babies to distract us from what the guide was telling us. I learned a lot. We were tired, but the walk wasn’t bad at all. Nothing up hill or too far. My only complaints were that other travelers in the group kept smoking cigarettes, which I do not like. They also kept taking their masks off while we were in close proximity. Our guide asked them to keep them on, but they didn’t listen which made me very uncomfortable. I tried to stay away from the smoke and unmasked people, but then I couldn’t hear the guide. I was not happy at all. But the guide herself “Joy” was great.
We were very pleased with our 90 min tour of Charleston. Our tour guide, Ryan, was excellent! He was very professional, kind and knowledgeable. You could feel his love for Charleston! We were very happy with how much we were able to see in such a short amount of time.
The bus tour was a general run down of historical neighborhoods and homes. This ticket covered the bus tour and a self guided tour of either the Manigault estate or the Charleston Museum (not both).
Boat ride is very nice and captain was fun and informative about the different sites. Got to get up close and learn about everything in the harbor worth seeing. Would definitely recommend!
Enjoyed the ferry over to Fort Sumpter. When arriving and listening to the guide regarding the history of the Fort and watching the flag wave. So grateful we live in the USA
