Finally, off to narrow gravel roads in the mountains

No longer able to do trekking, off road with jeep safaris is the alternative. Filipe, our very skilled driver, took us safely up narrow winding gravel roads high into the white mountains. We had an excellent trip and gained knowledge about daily life in Crete during this trip. A small refreshment at an ochard and a lunch at the sheep herder's family restaurent completed the trip nicely. A thank you to all involved for making this trip possible

This Adventure was so much fun and I see/hear a lot of things I never heard before. And the trip with the cars was such a great investment. Sure sometimes was the way up a little rough but it was just a great experience everbody should make. I really appreaciates this because I was able to see the livinig form a real sheperd. Thank you guys for this awesome time. I learn and see a lot.
