The planning and organisation of the trip was really good. I had questions prior to the trip that were answered well. We’ve been on this trip before but we didn’t really enjoy the guide. Rather thank being on a bus with other English travellers we were with primarily polish speaking travellers and we felt we didn’t get a good balance from the guide.

It was a little confusing in the beginning. We were picked up on the bus and just dropped at the port with zero explanation on what to do and where to go. We were all herded to a massive line and had to figure out what to do next. Once we were on board, about half way into the boat ride they announced what the options were when you arrived in Santorini. It’s a rushed day to see Santorini and you don’t have a lot of time but it works if you just want a quick trip to experience the island.

It was well organized. The transfer bus came for us to our accomodation and took us to the port. After arriving with the ferry, we found our guide easily as holding a table of our bus number which was written on the ferry ticket. First we went to Oia by bus and stayed there for 1.5 hours, then we visited Fira and chose to stay there in the remaning time (2 hours). It was a nice visit to see a bit of Santorini and we will definitely go there for a longer time once. Our guide was very friendly and as she is a local she told us very interesting facts about the island. Travelling with the jet was not the best part as I have motion sickness and there were pretty big waves on the way to Santorini, but going back was better.
