The personal touches and 1:1 experience that this company offered really made this tour special. With views and history of the region and the tastings, we will definitely be back to experience this again. We had an opportunity to use restrooms when needed and weren’t too far from tour locations themselves. I believe that they can pick you up from Paris, otherwise you can meet them near train station in Epernay like we did.
The day was an absolute delight. Lionel was witty and knowledgeable and the day was a mix of nerdy technical details, surprising art and culture, and of course plenty of champagne.
Excellent tour. My guide had very good English and explained to me the whole process of making Champagne. I loved that the winery was a 6th generation family run business.
It was just great! Was glad to know much more about champagne making. Definitely worth it.
Loved seeing and sampling from smaller producers rather than the big names
