Chamarel: 7 Coloured Earth Geopark Entrance Ticket

Chamarel: 7 Coloured Earth Geopark Entrance Ticket

Visit the Original 7 Coloured Earth in Chamarel and drink in the lunar-like spectacle of red, brown, violet, green, blue, purple, and yellow sand dunes set in the middle of lush green vegetation, with the Black River mountain range in the background. On your way to 7 Coloured Earth, you can also admire the majestic Chamarel Waterfall, the tallest single-drop waterfall in Mauritius at about 100 metres high. You can also wander to the tortoise park to see the tortoises called Toto, Tizean, Rosette, Nini, Tizom and Tifam up close — a great activity for the family. Originally from Aldabra in Seychelles, the species can reach up to 1 meter in length with an average lifespan of more than 150 years. During your visit to the Geopark, you can also stop for a snack or lunch at the Coffee Shop. There you'll find themed products such as the Seven-Coloured Macaroons or Gourmet Popsicles. The Coffee Shop also serves Chamarel Coffee; the only locally grown and roasted coffee in Mauritius. Its taste is unique... maybe because it is grown on volcanic soil.

We couldn't have imagined the tour to be any better! The guide more than exceeded our expectations! With great explanations, useful information and incredible passion, he got us through the day in easy-to-understand English. We visited the places described, where photos were taken of us and we always had a little time to linger. Lunch was also very tasty. In addition to the naturally beautiful impressions of the landscape of Mauritius, we also learned a lot about the religion here - the temples here are simply overwhelming! We would do the tour again at any time - it is absolutely worth the money. A huge thank you to our enthusiastic guide, through whom we were able to learn much more about this island than we thought! :)

We had an amazing trip to the South despite the rain . Ridwaan our guide was so informative about the history of the island and pointing out places in route . We had a brilliant time at Les Valley des Couluers and spent more time there than planned but it was worth it . I had some questions before the trip anout bookings and he was able to provide support and advice promptly . Despite the rain Ridwaan deviated the route to try and see if we could take advantage of views at one of the viewing points but sadly there was too much mist . The transport was so clean and tidy and he had umbrellas for us all to walk to a viewing area . Would definitely recommend this trip and guide whilst on Mauritius. Thank you Alison

We had a great day with Vinay. He picked us up from our hotel and tailored our trip to our wishes, taking into account what we wanted to see or avoid. Vinay was very patient with us and took great photos. At each place visited, we were entitled to a guided tour with detailed explanations of the history of the place. He also gave us time to enjoy together. We had a pleasant time, full of kindness and sharing.
