Well, I enjoyed the experience, however my people were 3/5 of a human when much of Louisiana was established, and I didn’t get a vote, on whether to forgive all crimes, past, present, & future, for Confederate President Jackson, So I didn’t appreciate the statue, or the memorial park, dedicated to him in the French quarter!!!

The cruise was exactly as described. The food was great. The trip down river and back was nice. The only downside is that when arriving at battle field, the historian started story before everyone was able to get off boat. So if you were not one of first few people off boat you missed part of story.

We rode about 35 minutes to and from the Chalmette battlegrounds. Our narrator, Charles was wonderful ! He was funny and very easy to listen to. Lots of valuable historical information and a very emotional and factual account of hurricane Katrina and its aftermath. Great time.

The buffet was very nice and HOT! The narrator was very knowledgeable about the history of the Mississippi River and of the city of New Orleans. Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my riverboat ride!

My boyfriend & I had an amazing time. Pilot Russell was very knowledgeable of the city. He also kept us at ease and made the ride easy. I would go again for the hour ride.
