Our walk will take us past many of the 300-plus well-preserved local historical houses. The town of Cesky Krumlov was the seat of the powerful Rozmberk family. In summer season the tour includes the entrance fee to Cesky Krumlov castle complex with château, which is the second largest in the Czech Republic after Prague Castle. In winter season the castle is closed. We invite you to the restaurant for 3 course lunch menu. Cesky Krumlov castle was founded by the Vitkovec family in the first half of the 13th century. After 1302, it became the mail seat of Rozmberks. The castle was expanded several times and in the 16th century was rebuilt into renaissance chateau. Later, the owners the Eggenberg and Schwarzenberk families made some baroque modifications. Also the chateau´s chapel was rebuilt, masquerade hall decorated and a new manor theater built. The castle´s viewing tower is nice highlight of the city.

Just WOW, Cesky Krumlov is such a magnificent old little town. Great one day escape from Prague! Tour was customised accordingly to our needs as we had some non-standard requirements and I have accept that Czech Hikes were super professional, friendly and their story is so lovely. Big support to you guys!!

Superb day trip to Cesky Krumlov! Enough time for stroll through this medieval city by our own but also amazing guided tour with Adam which super knowledgeable! His lunch recommendations were amazing and overall we could wish better service during the tour.

Enough free time to know the town, warm and professional service from Adam; good information and guidance of the place as well as recommendations for eating and patience even with the cold weather to give us time to know and take pictures of the place.

A wonderful day trip to Cesky Krumlov - tour guide was friendly and helpful, and the ride from Prague was comfortable. Snacks in the car were very appreciated! The town is beautiful, with time for wandering and suggestions from the guide.

Overall very nice day spent in this beautiful medieval town.
