On this 4-hour guided highlights tour, you'll have the chance to see Salta's historical center and surroundings. After departing from Central Salta, visit the main attractions of the city. Head to Plaza 9 de Julia, the Cathedral, the Cabildo, the Uriburu House, the Convent of San Francisco, the Convent and the Cerro San Bernardo, the Monument to Güemes and February 20, the Quebrada de San Lorenzo, and the Handicraft Market.

After picking you up at your hotel, we’ll start rolling through the streets of Salta, beginning with a visit to the famous Plaza 9 de Julio and its iconic Basilica Cathedral, a key meeting point in the city. We will then continue to the Cabildo, the house of Uriburu (that was his last name), and also visit the convents of San Francisco and San Bernardo, two historically significant places in this city. At the San Bernardo Hill viewpoint, you can enjoy a great view of the city, so get your best poses and Instagram filters ready. Next, we’ll take a tour of important monuments: the General Güemes Monument and the February 20th Monument, and wrap up with a visit to Quebrada San Lorenzo and the Artisan Market, where you can find an incredible variety of edible products, clothing, accessories, and more. We will start in our historic Plaza 9 de Julio, where from the vehicle you can see the Cathedral, the Alta Montaña Archaeological Museum, the Historic Cabildo and the Cuchi Leguizamón sculpture; Continuing our way through the colonial streets of the city, we will find the San Francisco Church and the Convent. We will ascend to Cerro San Bernardo through the car route in which emotions increase when we can see the city from above.
