Smooth, well organised journey in a comfortable air conditioned coach. Clear directions to the pick up point - make sure you take your GYG booking to the white hut to collect your check in stickers, then head to the coach (clearly labelled). There was a solid amount of time at both Rhein Falls (90mins) and the village of Stein am Rhein (also 90mins), and the drives inbetween were all nice and smooth. We bought tickets for the boat out to the falls on the coach (10 CFH per person) and felt it was well worth the views which were stunning. If you fancy a late lunch around 4pm, then Stein am Rhein has a lovely selection of places on the main street. All in all, a well recommended tour with clear English/German guides.

It’s the only way to go in Switzerland! Easy to use with the WR code. Do read the fine print though. The pass is good for most transportation, but you’ll pay extra for the high mountain gondolas and trains, but you get a 50 percent discount with the Swiss Travel pass. We found it expensive but it’s the easiest way to go and will save you tons of time. Trains are in time, and buses run frequently. We also took a boat cruise with the pass at no extra cost. Happy with it overall. Everything in Switzerland is expensive!

Everything about the SwissPass was GREAT, except for one thing. We purchased 2 First Class Passes, and at no time was it explained to us what that meant and how we could best take advantage of it. On our last day, a train representative told us that we could have been sitting upstairs on al of the trains we were on. The service was impeccable, and the ease of getting on board was unparalleled. There were several times that, at the age of 74 we struggled to get down the stairs, under the tracks and up the ramp on the other side with 2 large suitcases.
