What to Expect
Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the neighboring Montenegro are abundant with rich cultural artifacts, impressive architecture, and interesting histories. Become acquainted with some of the most important locations on the Adriatic Coast on this 10-day excursion from Zagreb.
In Zagreb enjoy a guided city tour and see splendid works of architecture such as the Croatian National Theater and the St. Marco Church. Visit the picturesque Lake Bled, and Bled Castle. Learn about the eastern and western clashes in the beautiful city of Mostar, and relax in the lush greenery of Neretva with a peaceful river safari.
Led by a professional and friendly guide, this tour aims to inform you on the history of the Balkans, whilst also providing a relaxing holiday. All meals are included, and you will stay in deluxe bed and breakfast accommodation. Because all the transport is organized for you, sit back, relax and take in the beautiful landscapes of the Balkans.

Day 1 (D)
Arrival in Zagreb and transfer from airport to the hotel in the city center. You will then meet with your guide and proceed for a sightseeing tour of the area. Visit St. Marco church, the Croatian national theatre, and the Cathedral of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Afterwards, dinner in the hotel will be served.
Day 2 (B, L, D)
Transfer to Bled, Slovenia. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Bled Lake, and Bled castle. You will then proceed to Postojna, where lunch will be organized in one of the local restaurants. Sightseeing will follow with a hotel Dinner.
Day 3 (B, L, D)
Your day begins with breakfast in the hotel, after which your tour continues to the region of Istra, and city of Porec. You will visit the Basilica of Euphrasius, the most famous monument of the early Byzantine Empire. After the sightseeing of Porec, you will go to the city of Opatija. Dinner will be served in the hotel.
Day 4 (B, L, D)
After the breakfast you will depart for the Plitvice National Park, the most beautiful National Park in Croatia. Lunch will be organized in one of the restaurants, where you will meet your guide, and after lunch, you will proceed to a sightseeing of the National Park.
Day 5 (B, L, D)
Proceed to the city of Split. On the way, stop off at the city of Sibenik, where you will visit the old part of the town, and eat in one of the city restaurants. Afterwards continue to the city of Trogir for sightseeing, and then travel further to the city of Split, where dinner will be served in the hotel.
Day 6 (B, L, D)
Explore the old city center of Split. You will visit Diocletian palace, which is more than 1700 years old, St. Dominus Cathedral, and Jupiter temple. The afternoon will be left free to spend however you choose.
Day 7 (B, L, D)
Today you will travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the beautiful city of Mostar. This is a place where the eastern influences of the Ottoman Empire met with the western culture of the Catholic Church. Eat lunch in a city center restaurant. After, you will return back to Croatia, where you will visit the valley of the river Neretva, a nature park famous for mandarin trees and rare bird species. You will embark on a river safari.
Day 8 (B, L, D)
On the way to Dubrovnik you will stop in the city of Ston. Here you will find the second biggest city walls in the world, after the Great Wall of China. You will have the opportunity to sample traditional specialty Oysters. After the lunch you will arrive at the city of Dubrovnik. Once settled in your hotel, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik. After that, dinner will be served in a local restaurant.
Day 9 (B, L, D)
A day trip in the Montenegro, and city of Kotor. In Kotor, you will visit The Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, an impressive Roman Catholic cathedral in Montenegro. It is the seat of the Croatian Catholic Bishop of Kotor which covers the entire gulf.
Day 10 (B)
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport.
