Experience the views from the Centennial Wheel at the Historic Navy Pier in Chicago with this attraction ticket. Be suspended over Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Chicago River. Marvel at the Chicago skyline and gaze out over the sparkling waters of Lake Michigan.

Choose between two options: With the Regular Barcoded ticket, skip the ticket line and enter the line to board the wheel. The Fastpass Express ticket allows you to skip both lines, and gives you VIP access. Both tickets allow you to visit within 7 days of your scheduled ticket date.

Enjoy the Centennial Wheel, which was built in 2016 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Navy Pier opening. Featuring 42 gondolas, each holding 8 people, it operates year-round. They also feature LED lighting, padded seats, TV screens, and speakers, as well as panoramic windows on all 4 sides.

A ride on the wheel gives you plenty of time to enjoy these panoramic views of Chicago as they unfold around you, and allows you to visit the top three times. Relax and take in the view, or get your camera out to snap pictures of the ever-changing Chicago landscape.

  • Please note: for the safety of guests and staff, the Centennial Wheel and other Pier Park attractions must occasionally close due to weather conditions, such as lightning, high winds, and extreme cold
  • Only service animals are permitted as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) - any guide dog, signal dog or another animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability

Good! The person scanning the initial ticket didn't tell us where to go for express tickets though, we had to ask the photographer, which we didn't really know if they would know, but the people in front of us also had express tickets and we were all just crowded around the express line entrance. Otherwise everything was fine. Went with my 4 year old, and they let us have a whole car to ourselves which was really cool!

Fast Pass line not well marked! We had to ask the crew where it was and it took 3 of them to figure out we were to be let us in the through the wheelchair line. FastPassed right past the professional photograph, which we went back to get. Loved the ride and the views! It was 3 times around.

It was totally worth it. I was a bit hesitant initially as the weather was cold. But they had a cozy air conditioned setup below the deck which was helpful. The guide was very knowledgeable. She kept us all engaging with some good jokes in between. We didn't even realize that 90 mins went like a breeze.
