Cayman Islands National Museum

Set off on an adventure to discover and take in the Cayman Islands' rich culture, history, and tradition. Explore a breathtaking culture and tradition, thanks to a year-round temperate environment and a friendly native community. Begin the tour with a guided visit to the Cayman Islands National Museum in George Town, which covers the history of the islands' seafaring.  From there, continue the trip and pass through the George Town Post Office, which was built on April 12, 1889, and served as Cayman's first post office. After that, continue the trip via the Cayman Island Courthouse until you reach the Governor's Residence. You can take pictures and sign the visitor's log book at the Governor's Residence. In that book, you never know who you'll find! Next, find the famous Pedro St. James, or Pedro Castle as the locals call it, and the Tortuga Rum Cake Factory. Visitors may now roam through the massive building to get a sense of what life was like so long ago in Cayman's past, thanks to its original items and period furniture. The Pedro Theatre also hosts a 3D multisensory performance that immerses you in the lives of early settlers.

Discover the Island of Grand Cayman on a guided tour from George Town. Explore the Seven Mile Beach area, and the world-famous Cayman Turtle Center. See the rock formations of hell, the oldest existing stone building in the Cayman Islands, and visit Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park. Visit Seven Mile Beach and marvel at the long crescent of coral sand. See turtles at the Cayman Turtle Center and hear about the convention work from your guide. See the rock formation of hell and Tortuga Rum Cake Factory in George Town. Continue through the coastal residential district of South Sound with its fabulous homes before arriving at Pedro St. James. Move on through the district of Bodden Town and North Side before arriving at the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park. Take a guided tour at the Botanic Park to view the colorful Caymanian flora and the endangered Blue Iguana and Cayman parrots. Take a 1-hour stop for lunch during the tour at one of the local restaurants along the way (lunch not included).
