Cappadocia: Sunset or Daytime Horse Riding Tour

Amazing activity. Truly the highlight of our trip. Many thanks to Ahmet, who made this memorable. He was very sweet and a true light, always smiling. He always made sure we were okay, as this was our first time horse riding.

The most epic horse ride I’ve ever taken! Our guide was so helpful with the horses, mine was only four years old and often wanted to stop for snacks. The guide spoke decent English and taught us how to direct the horse right away at the ranch, constantly walking up and back to keep the horses in line and not veering off. The only thing worth mentioning is nothing against this company, just an FYI about the route. You go up into a gorgeous rock-formation filled valley and sometimes the path is very narrow and a little steep in some places. You have to be responsible to lean forward/back and make sure your horse stays right on the track and takes it slowly. We had no incidences, but these bits do get your heart pumping if you’re new on a horse. If you’re nervous, be sure to ask for an older, tamer horse or a smaller one so it’s not scary up there.
