Lyon: escape game in the Vieux Lyon

Lyon: escape game in the Vieux Lyon

The Vieux-Lyon escape game is funny and full of unusual discoveries. It's an escape game that is cultural, since you will learn lots of things about the Vieux-Lyon, and also fun, because there are well-crafted puzzles and an original code to crack. The escape game lasts 2 hours, there are 15 stages in the most beautiful places in the Vieux Lyon (Saint John's cathedral, archeological garden, the traboules...). At each stage there is a riddle to solve in order to get a letter of the mystery sentence. When in the end you find the sentence, you win, and receive a real gift from Lyon! The activity is very unifying, it is designed to allow participants to have a good time together, laughing and searching (and finding!) together. It's also a great activity to do as a family because there are children's and adult versions of the game. The costumed game masters lead the game, help and share knowledge and anecdotes about Lyon heritage. They also take professional photos to send you for free. The meeting point with the game master (wearing a green cape) is at 3 rue des Estrées, 69005 Lyon.

The tour was fantastic. We never knew that Lyon is so beautiful. We were in lyon for a show. We just had a few hours free and we booked the tour at 15h with ryan. He was a fantastic guide. He knew a lot of history and showed us the highlights. His enthusiasm and knowlegde and humor were top! Also the chemistry between him and his son was fantastic, you could see that they had fun together. His son was also top!! We were very happy to see so many highlights in such a short time. The fact that we had the tour at the end of the day was also a bonus with all the ligths. Highly recommended!!

We were lucky to come across Ryan and his son Aidan. They are residents of Lyon and fountains of knowledge about their City. Ryan took us to several places that we might not otherwise have gone to. They shared their knowledge of this very interesting place and told us a lot about its history - from ancient times to the present day. Ryan and Aidan were happy to answer all our questions and didn’t hurry us when we wanted to take a little longer to look and learn. This was a most enjoyable walking tour and we recommend it to any visitor to Lyon.

We saw a huge amount of things of interest in such a short time, it was impressive. Quentin was personable, knowledgeable, and even though he guides for free, he is his tour was very polished and entertaining.

The dynamism of the visit / its interest / the explanations provided / everything was perfect with in addition a tasting of praline brioche and in addition a recommendation of certain Lyonnais bouchons

10/10 for Quentin-San, very friendly and informative on History of Lyon as well as whole of France. This walking tour costed close to nothing, so please tip him well, Merci!
