This was a great trip and a good way to see Etna and explore some of the flavours of Sicily and the Etna region. Our guide was really knowledgeable about the area's history and the mountain. We took the option of the cable car ride for the extra cost, but all the options were well explained. Afterwards the wine and food tasting was amazing. The pick up and drop off at our hotel made it a really easy day out and Giuseppe was a great guide.

Our guide Natasha provide and excellent day and was very knowledgeable about the local area and the volcano, it was a small group which felt very personal and she was able to answer additional questions on areas to visit for the rest of our stay. The trip up to Etna was very educational and the trip to the cave was a welcome relief from the heat. One of the highlights of the trip was the wine tasting, we were expecting some small nibbles with our wine but instead we were served a huge variety of local foods, mostly sourced on or around Etna. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who wants to visit Etna and also wants to sample some local foods.

Great tour led by Natasha and Simone, we especially enjoyed the wine and dine portion of it at Enoteca dell'Etna. The car will take you as far as 2000m and the guide will ask you if you would like to e-bike or take the cable car to about 2500m (same price). One piece of advice: Only do the e-bike (i.e. electric mountain bikes) if you are an experienced mountain biker. My husband and I fell multiple times even though we are city cyclists and I turned around to go back down the mountain alone. The volcanic terrain is soft sand/ash/gravel with little traction.
