Full description

Visit the villages that created the set for the Godfather on this guided tour from Catania. Discover Savoca's Bar Vitelli, see the church where the wedding took place, and marvel at the famous Durazzesco Arch in Forza D'Agrò.

Meet your driver outside your hotel in Catania and head towards Savoca, one of Sicily's most picturesque villages of Sicily, and the filming location for many Godfather scenes. After arriving in Savoca, visit Bar Vitelli at the village entrance. See where Michael Corleone asks for Apollonia's hand in marriage and enjoy a refreshing lemon granita. Stroll along the village's narrow streets to reach the historic town center

Stop to see the Church of San Nicolò (or Santa Lucia), where the famous wedding was filmed in the movie. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Sicilian countryside before heading to Forza D'Agrò, a famous medieval village featured prominently in the film.

Begin in the historic town square and climb a staircase to reach the famous Durazzesco Arch. Continue to visit the churchyard of the Church of the Holy Trinity, also known as the Church of Sant 'Agostino, where several movie scenes take place. Next, head to your final stop, Taormina. Enjoy some free time to explore this picturesque city. Stroll along the elegant main street, Corso Umberto. Stop to take in the sights and do some shopping in exclusive stores and local craft shops before returning to Catania.
