Enzo was a great tour guide and kept me, my girlfriend and all the other travellers entertained with his story’s about Catania and the mountain. When we arrived at the the mountain we chose to take the cable car up too 3000ft where the views were amazing. When we got back to the van we went down to explore the caves which we found rather interesting. We then finally stopped off at a local shop which sold all kinds of products from honey to wine and we got to try them all! Finally it was time to head back and Enzo dropped us all off at our hotels. Thankyou for a lovely day!!

Vincenzo was an excellent guide. He ensured our group stayed together and that everyone was able to keep up and manage the climb. He explained how the craters have been created and Just how quickly this can happen. Also how the volcano is ever changing and during the climb must be attentive to the mountain changes to be safe. We experienced a few higher level explosions while on the summit and were quickly but safely taken down the side to remain safe. All the other guides knew Vincenzo and said he was the youngest guide.

Well organized tour, some waiting in line for the 4x4 buses both up and down, but not extremely long. Very knowledgeable guide, told us a lot about volcanism in general and Etna in particular. He also adjusted his pace to make sure I can keep up, as I was by far the oldest member of the group. We were also lucky to have clear and sunny weather, though it was biting cold and extremely windy at the top. Overall, a very nice (and tiring) experience.

We saw so much more and got so much closer than we even imagined!! Our guide Daniele was amazing - so kind and so knowledgable. A must for anyone who is in the area! Be wary - our original trip was cancelled due to bad weather (mid October) so make sure you have an alternative day you can postpone too so you aren’t disappointed. Also - bring gloves and wear more layers than you think!!

It was magical and amazingly done. Our guide (Daniele) has provided us so much interesting information and made us really have an experience of lifetime! We were lucky enough to make it to summits since the weather was nice and on the way down enjoyed the roar and might of Etna since volcanic activities started..
