It was a wonderful experience. Angela is a great chef and a charming teacher. Her beautiful kitchen was a comfortable place to cook and learn. Angela has a talent for bringing strangers with different cooking skills together to prepare a delicious meal. By the end of the evening, we felt like family, and everyone left with a better knowledge of Italian cooking.

My wife and I just got done with the class this evening and we loved it!! Our host was so kind and invited us into her flat, led us in preparing a wonderful meal with items from the local market, and engaged us with great conversation. We learned about Sicily and cooking all at once! The only trouble we had was the address GYG has is incorrect. A last-minute email from GYG fortunately came through and we walked (only 300m) to the correct address. Thanks so much for hosting us!

The meeting point is NOT where it’s supposed to be held at but it wasn’t a big issue, we had to walk another 5 minutes to find the place. The lady was super nice and hospitable, the area was very clean and she prepped prior to us getting there. We made fresh pasta, a salad and she provided bread and wine. Dinner was absolutely delicious and wonderful.
