What People Are Saying About Catalonia

Great thanks to Clara our guide we had a great time

Great thanks to Clara our guide we had a great time, nice lunch and good explenation of the historie.

excellent guide, beautiful locations, very good wines!

My mother and I enjoyed this day trip very much. The guide Clara made it very interesting, explaining the history of Catalunya and the process of making cava and wine. We liked the wineries a lot, they are small family busineses and not macro companies. I highly recommend this day trips, even to people living in Barcelona like myself.

Guides were excellent -- wonderful place to visit.

See above. Timing given at each place was more than adequate. A very pleasant day. Guides were excellent and enthusiastic.

Fantastic guide Xavier made it a wonderful day out.

The tour was wonderful. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. The lunch was very enjoyable and even though I am a coeliac the were able to accommodate my dietary needs. Overall I would highly recommend this tour.

Worth of your time and money: the best tour you can do while in Barca

This tour was by far the best one we took while in Barcelona. We went on another one by another company that we purchased on site and were highly disappointed because we felt so rushed. This one is worth it! To begin, we met our guide John, who was AWESOME! We headed to Montserrat, an unbelievable place, whether you are religious or not. John took us straight to see the Virgin of Montserrat aka Black Madonna. We were glad that he did that first because after, tons of buses pulled over, so we were able to avoid the lines. He showed us the primary things and explained everything. After that, we had free time to enjoy the museum and go for a hike. There are two options, one to the cross to enjoy the view (shorter hike) and the other to the chapel where Montserrat was found (longer hike). We did the chapel. It was beautiful, but only recommend it if you are a fast walker. You can't go wrong with either. After Montserrat we ate at a nice local restaurant and ended up at a great winery.
