Take a peaceful walk through vineyards in the Catalan countryside in this 5-hour guided tour. Discover important sites in Catalonia’s history and take an exciting tour of the Torres winery, one of the country’s most famous wine producers.
What to Expect
Explore the beautiful scenery of the Penedes countryside, and get to know a proud wine-growing region.
The Catalan countryside has been linked for thousands of years to wine production, and its rolling hills are dotted with historic country houses and prestigious wineries.
Our tour begins at the visitor’s center of Torres cellar in Pacs del Penedes.
From there we will take a guided tour of the winery, taking the time to learn about the careful production of Catalan wines, and enjoying a tasting as well.
From there we will begin a relaxing walk surrounded by vineyards and old cottages towards the historical complex of Sant Marti Sarroca.
Sant Marti is home to a castle dating back to the 11th century and a beautiful Romanesque church, and the small town is listed as National historical and artistic site.
Take a moment to rest while taking in the beautiful scenery of the region, overlooking the nearby Montserrat mountains.
We will then return along the same path to the Torres’ wine cellar, where you are invited to have a light snack before the tour ends.
