What People Are Saying About Catacombs of Rome

A really fun way to see the historic sights in the countryside of Rome

This is a fantastic tour. Very informative, stunning scenery, beautiful historic monuments and of course, the aqueducts. Our guide, Frederick was awesome; always looking out for our safety and making sure we were enjoying the tour to the max. He took our group photos and was helpful in many other ways. Great job! The e-assist bikes are great to help keep even the least experienced cyclist up with the rest of the group. Hills are no problem and they are a lot of fun as well. There is so much to see and none of it is rushed. Every minute is enjoyable. We were very lucky to have a brilliantly sunny day with temps around 12 degrees. Beautiful weather in December for a family from Canada. I have nothing but praise for this company. From the mechanics who got our bikes ready for us to the people in reception who welcomed us. Everything is top notch! Highly recommended.

Amazing, surprising, educational and fun.

Well organised tour, back to the early days of christiannitty. Amazing stories, told by our passioned guide Karina, in a modern and fun way. She really made historie come to life.

Great way to skip the lines, see the papal crypt area

We showed up to Rome, and realized it was a bad idea to go without a tour. We found out that there are only three tour groups that give access to the papal final resting place, and so we jumped to get tickets for two days later. It was pouring on the day we went, so we were very happy to move relatively quickly into the Vatican museums. The Vatican museums are expansive, and there is no way to get to see everything you want to see as a group. We focused on the sources of inspiration for the Sistine Chapel in the museum itself. The Papal tombs (NOT the crypts, this is an important distinction - we only got to tour part of the papal tombs, and fairly quickly) were very interesting, and St. Peter's Basilica was wonderful, especially being a Jubilee year. The tour is fast moving, focused on general public interest for the locations, but is a great way to get in quickly and see the main sights. We were happy for the value paid.

The Vatican is a must see and a small tour is the way to go.

Even though, at the last minute, the Vatican closed early. We were able, with our guide's perseverance, to see the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica.
