Saint Lucia: Rainforest Aerial Tram Tour

1. Saint Lucia: Rainforest Aerial Tram Tour

Glide through Saint Lucia's verdant tree canopy with a knowledgeable local guide as you enjoy an aerial tram tour that offers an up-close look at the island's lush environment. Look for curious hummingbirds and leafy chestnut trees as you ride, and then head out on a self-guided nature walk. Start your tour by boarding a spacious aerial tram that cruises along quiet cables as it rises through forests of gum and chestnut trees. Listen to the chatter of birds while your rise and let your guide point out native flora and fauna, like the gripping vines of stranger ficus, and yellow-chested bananaquit birds. Enjoy sweeping views out over the island's rolling hills when you reach the top of your tram route and then take some time to wander down sun-dappled trails to explore the forest floor's rich ecosystem. Snap photos of ferns, keep your eyes peeled for fluttering hummingbirds, and wind your tour to a close with a convenient lift back to your hotel or cruise ship.

St. Lucia: Segway Nature Trail Experience

2. St. Lucia: Segway Nature Trail Experience

This 2-hour St. Lucia Segway tour starts at our Segway practice track, where you’ll have a 20-minute orientation session. Professional staff and equipment ensure a safe and fun experience for everyone. After everyone becomes familiar with the balance controls of the Segway X2, we glide off to explore the historical wonders of Mount Pimard along our exclusive 1.7 mile (2.7 km) long trail system. Our fun and informative guides will talk about everything from the beautiful flowers and butterflies to the battles the French and English once waged for possession of our island. We have many beautiful photo stops and educational spots along the way such as the now sealed bunkers that once served as tunnels, storage and lookouts for the American Military during World War 2. Guests will enjoy beautiful vistas of Pigeon Island, Reduit Beach, Rodney Bay Marina and the Caribbean Sea all while gliding effortlessly on their intuitive, eco-friendly Segway X2. Some of our other stops include a naturally occurring pond where we stop to feed the fresh-water fish and a local fruit stop at our highest viewpoint.

What people are saying about Castries Quarter

Event was very good / The tour is definitely worth it

Cable car and zip line tour have been combined. In addition, a short walk through the forest with all explanations about fauna and flora. Very good care and entertaining / drink including improvement: The address in the port area would have been better with the sign "Get your Guide Tour". We had to look for the guide for a long time and recognized it only late because many other tours started there. We had 2 quays where he could have expected us (Seraphine / La place Carenage) The description of the pickup location should be updated. There was no sign of a wooden building.

An absolutely awesome experience.

We received very friendly professional tuition from Chad who was very knowledgeable about the island and extremely helpful This made the whole experience enjoyable and memorable and we have the wonderful photos he took of us. We will certainly recommend you to anyone we know who is thinking of vacationing in the Caribbean. Thank you so much.

Excellent, best thing we did on vacation

Facilities and staff were outstanding. Tour guide, Shanga Danga, took the time to show us the proper use of the Segway and then we went through amazing trails that overlooked beautiful sites. He was ful of information on the history of St. Lucia. Our whole familiy loved it, Segway's are amazing and so was our tour guide.

Segway are amazing!

Our tour guide were very friendly and kept us safe on the Segways. They were knowledgable and allowed to taste the fruit and juices from the island, that was my favorite part. I would recommend to everyone to give this a try!

We had a terrific time!

The Segway Tour and the guides were great. No problems whatsoever. Very enjoyable. St Lucia was beautiful!
