Our trip guide today was John. He was such a nice guy and planned our day with us just as we wanted. Plenty of refreshments in the vehicle for whenever we wanted. Highly recommend doing this on your trip to St.Lucia and hopefully you are lucky enough to have John as your guide. His passion and knowledge for the island is exemplary. We chose to do the rum tasting tour, markets, pigeon island, light lunch at a beautiful place recommended by the guide, along with extra additions including photo opportunities and spice tasting. Thanks to John for making our stay on the island extra special and certainly will stay with us forever ♥️
The trip itself was great and our guide Valentine was a good host. Very knowledgeable and happy to tell us about the island. The negatives are that it seems to be a very well rehearsed trip and every time there was a stop off to look at something, someone appeared out of nowhere to try and sell us something. It just felt a bit of a tourist trap from that perspective. The roads to get to the mud bath are horrendous and we were down to 20km per hour over winding for a long period. If you're travel sick, keep this in mind as it's approx 2 hours each way from the capital. There were cold drinks available when we asked for water.
